Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the mobile game Corner Shop Tycoon (the "game") collects and how it is used. The game is published by Isa Toltar, an individual developer ("we", "us"). You can contact us at isatoltar@gmail.com.

1. Information we do not collect

The game has no accounts, no sign-in and no chat. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone or precise location. Your game progress (money, level, store layout and settings) is saved only on your device and is not sent to us.

2. Information collected by our service providers

The game uses third-party services that collect some data automatically:

  • Google AdMob shows advertising. It may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and operating system information, and how you interact with ads. It uses this to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure performance and prevent fraud. If you consent, ads may be personalized.
  • Firebase Analytics and Firebase Remote Config (Google) tell us how the game is used, for example sessions, game days played, levels reached and ads watched, and let us adjust game settings. They use an app-instance identifier, basic device information and, on iPhone and iPad if you allow tracking, the advertising identifier. We do not send personal details such as names or email addresses to them.
  • Google User Messaging Platform shows a consent form in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions where one is required, and stores your choice.
  • Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt on iPhone and iPad asks for your permission before the game can use the advertising identifier to track you across other companies' apps and websites.

3. How we use information

  • To run the game and show advertising that helps keep it free.
  • To understand and improve gameplay, balance and stability.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Your choices

  • Consent: where required, the game asks for your consent to personalized ads when you first start it. You can decline, and the game still works with non-personalized ads. To be asked again, clear the game's data in your phone's app settings or reinstall the game.
  • Android: you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization in Settings > Privacy > Ads.
  • iPhone and iPad: you can change your tracking choice at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and limit ad tracking there.
  • Delete your data: uninstalling the game removes the progress saved on your device. To ask about data processed by our analytics provider, contact us at isatoltar@gmail.com.

5. Legal bases (EEA and UK users)

We process advertising data based on your consent, and analytics and game operation data based on our legitimate interest in running and improving the game. You can withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to processing, and to complain to your data protection authority.

6. Children

The game is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us at isatoltar@gmail.com and we will help remove it.

7. Data sharing and transfers

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with the service providers named above. Because they operate internationally, your data may be processed in countries outside your own, with the safeguards that those providers describe in their policies.

8. Data retention

Game progress stays on your device until you delete the game. Analytics and advertising data are kept by the providers for the periods set in their policies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page, with its date at the top.
